State Chapter 705 - Family

The Massachusetts 705 Family Housing Program consists of twelve (12) family units.  Two (2) two-bedroom units and ten (10) three-bedroom units, one is wheelchair accessible.

Eligibility for housing subsidized through the Harwich Housing Authority is governed by rules and regulations promulgated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC).  Please complete the CHAMP Application to be placed on our waitlist when vacancies arise.  See CHAMP Application under "Resources".

State Chapter 167 - DMH

The Massachusetts 167 Program, through the Department of Mental Health, has a total of eight (8) special needs units under one roof.  This property is leased to DMH.

Massachusetts Rental Voucher - MRVP

The Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program,  begun in 1991, is a State-subsidized program for a limited number of low-income individuals or families to remain in scatttered-site, privately owned rental housing throughout the community.  The tenant portion is calculated to what the Commonwealth determines to be a fair share of allowable rent, with a voucher subsidy paid to the landlord for the difference of the Contract Rent.  Please apply for the MRVP under "Resources", Documents, CHAMP Application.
